Lightweight expedition successfully climbs Satopanth and one more

An 8 member Indo-German expedition led by Anindya Mukherjee has successfully climbed Satopanth 7075m and an unnamed 6000m peak.
Satopanth was climbed by Christian Ranke and Lhakpa Sherpa on 16 September in alpine style. The unnamed 6000m peak was climbed by Mahendra Adhikari, Aloke Kumar Das and Anindya Mukherjee on 18 September. Sayantan Dutta was the liaison officer deputed by the IMF to the team. Rajeev Ranjan and Reinhard Friesinger were the other members of the expedition
