The Lamkhaga (17,363ft.) is one of the famous passes on Dhouladhar Ridge, which connects Garhwal Himalaya and Himachal Pradesh. This unconventional route starts from Harshil and it passes through Gangnani, Kiyarkoti, Chhota Tal, Baspa Glacier, Nithal to get Chhitkul in Kinnaur. Famous Bengali trekkers Tapan Pandit and his wife Usha Pandit with their team explored this unconventional route in May 2001.
