Debsa Pass (17,585 ft) is a bypass route of Pin-Parvati Pass, which connects Spiti Valley and Parvati Valley. It is considered to be a shorter trail length as compared to conventional Pin-Parvati Pass trek. It can be started either from Manikaran or Sangam in Spiti Valley. The trail follows Debsa river in Spiti side and Parvati river in Parvati Valley side. Tapan Pandit with his teammates (Mintu Kayal, Surajit Roy, Tilak Patra, Pabitra Mandal, Ranjit Mal and Usha Panit) is the first team to cross Debsa Pass from Kaza side in September 1998. They started from Kaza and through the village Thango, Dabsa snout and Debsa Pass they came down the valley Katch which is in the conventional Pin-Parvati Pass trail to get back to Manikaran.
