German Couple reaches the top of Manaslu without supplementary Oxygen

Luis Stitzinger (48) and his wife Alix von Melle (46) summitted Mt Manaslu (8163m) on 30th September, 2017 at around 12.45 pm. It was their seventh eight-thousander and the sixth joint summit, all without the use of bottled Oxygen. The duo attempted Manaslu in 2012 but were forced to turn back from 150 meters below the summit.
The list of the eight-thousanders which they have jointly scaled is given below:
Gasherbrum II (8034m) - 2006
Nanga Parbat (8125m) - 2008
Dhaulagiri (8167m) - 2009
Broad Peak (8051m) - 2011
Shishapangma (8027m) - 2013
Manaslu (8163m) - 2017
Besides the above mentioned list Luis Stitzinger climbed Cho Oyu (8188m) in 2000 and his wife Alix von Melle scaled it in 2010.
