150 teams gear up for Raid-de-Himalaya

In the 16th Raid-de-Himalaya, around 150 teams from India and other countries will participate in "Xtreme" and "Adventure trail" categories in this motor sport. The rally will be flagged off from Shimla on October 4, 2014 and will endure over 11 high passes to travel about 1,650 kms through harsh and difficult terrain. This mega event is being organized by Himalayan Motorsport Association, Shimla, in collaboration with departments of youth services and sport and tourism, Himachal Pradesh.
