Mr. Dipankar Ghosh

Dipankar Ghosh is well known amongst the aspirants of mountaineering for his outstanding performance in enumerable successful expeditions. He ventured expedition of more than 40 peaks of Himalayan range and summited 28 of them including Mt. Everest, Lohtse and Makalu. Two of them gave him the recognition as the first Indian summiter. He has also explored four virgin peaks in Himachal pradesh. He has Published more than 45 journal articles on mountaineering and recipient of 'Radhanath Shikdar-Tenjing Norgey' Award. Apart from these he has an exceptional command of photography. He has also been awarded about 50 national and international photography award for his contribution to alpine photgraphy.
